Regeneratively Grown

Proudly providing our customers with culturally inspired foods that honor the diverse backgrounds and flavors of our vibrant community.

Fort Baptist Farm's Story

In 2017, our family began a journey to grow our own food, flowers, poultry, and eggs on land that historically belonged to the Native American Cayuga Nation. Inspired by the resilience and farming traditions of our ancestors, we founded Fort Baptist Farm—a Black-owned, family-run farm rooted in community values in upstate New York. We’re dedicated to providing fresh, healthy food that connects us deeply to the land and our heritage.

At Fort Baptist Farm, we believe that everyone should have access to healthy, sustainable food. Guided by a “people over profit” principle, we keep prices fair and quality high. Our produce includes culturally significant foods that are often unavailable in local markets but hold a special place in our community’s diverse backgrounds. Through our focus on food justice and accessibility, we’re working to build a more inclusive and sustainable food system for all.

Rooted in respect for the earth, each other, and the generations to come.

Our commitment to sustainability and community guides everything we do, keeping our farming practices in harmony with the land.

Growing Techniques

We use no-till methods to nurture our crops, avoiding synthetic chemicals and prioritizing soil health. We do not use harmful insecticides or pesticides in our growing techniques.

Biodiversity and Crop Rotation

By rotating crops and promoting biodiversity, we help to build soil fertility and support natural pest control, keeping our ecosystem balanced.

Regenerative Land Stewardship

Every decision we make is aimed at protecting the environment, ensuring that our practices benefit both current and future generations.
